That’s what makes this broccoli macaroni & cheese recipe so awesome. Top with panko and 1 tablespoon old bay seasoning. Combine melted butter and bread crumbs until bread crumbs have absorbed the butter. Pour over cooked, drained pasta and broccoli. Remove from heat and whisk in cheddar cheese, mustard, salt and pepper. Pour in the cooked mac and cheese and top with remaining cheeses. Reduce heat to low and simmer until thickened, about 2 minutes. (Will still look bit watery at this stage). Remove lid (Note 3), stir through cheese, then sprinkle over panko and parmesan. Remove from the oven, switch oven to broiler/grill on high. Place the lid on and bake for 20 minutes.
